Do you have all the tools to build a successful career in landscape design? LDA might be the best tool you have.

  • We host about 6 educational programs per year on: Design, Horticulture, and Business Strategy.
  • Members are from different types of businesses in the landscape world. Our base membership is landscape designers and architects, most of whom also contract their own projects. We also have many "supplier" businesses who work with the designers and architects: irrigation, carpentry, lighting, nurseries... Our contractor members often work with our supplier members. Some members, who do not have crews, hire other contractors who are our members. We develop relationships with other members and suppliers at our programs. There is always a networking opportunity at our programs. Having face-to-face time with suppliers and other members produces better relationships and more reliable work.
  • Our noted publication, Covering Ground, keeps us updated with valuable articles and timely information. We tour suppliers and vendors. We host a summer party and winter party. Member benefits include listing in and access to our membership online data base. Experienced professionals who volunteer their time run our organization. Please feel free to contact any board or committee member if you have questions about the association.

Annual dues are $100 for Full Membership. Associate Memberships are available to employees of current members for $50.  Corporate Memberships are $400.

New for 2017 is a Student Status: not full membership but $50 allows a student to attend all programs at the member cost for one year. (Most programs are free to members.) Please note your school on the application. Questions? Email Noreen at DesignGreenLandscapes@gmail.com

The LDA membership year runs from January 1st – December 31st. Membership dues are not prorated. Applications received from September through December will apply to the upcoming year.
